GRIZZLYTWISTER
Grizzlytwister have been around since 2002, and is a five piece hardcore combo from the more southern parts of northern Sweden. Playing high energetic chaotic punk rock, - meant as a kick in the crotch for the uptight non-caring crowd of today's society. We all need some drama now and then, the common man as well as the hardcore scene. It sometime seems that 'punk' now days are more about fitting in than not to fit in. By using two synthesizers and samplers to make suggestive sounds capes mixed technical guitar lines, drumming from hell and toped of with mad shouting vocals, Grizzlytwister pushes the boundaries and take no notice of any already outlaid guidelines; in fact unconsciously smashing it all up with vast fist of true renewal. It's really simple; less punk-hardcore dress codes, less posing and more thought and more action.
"It's becoming increasingly difficult to discover new exciting hardcore bands. The scene's been so watered down with "mallcore" and "mainstreamo" that a band like Grizzlytwister is a total anomaly. ONCE OVER
ONCE OVER, hail from the South Coast of England near Brighton. The six piece play a unique mixture of Ska, Hardcore-Punk and Metal. The band fuses these styles with a strong DIY ethic as well as political and social issues. The songs are bursting with energy and capture the true sound of the band perfectly. Lost Lovers maakt frisse eigenwijze 3-minuten pop, waarin vindingrijke akkoordwisselingen, fijnmazige harmonieën en verrassende ritmepartijen de basis vormen voor een collectie aanstekelijke songs. Live wordt het merendeels eigen werk afgewisseld met cover-juweeltjes die een beetje verklappen waar Lost Lovers de mosterd haalt: o.a. Beatles, Elvis Costello, XTC, Ween, The Who, Queen en Hank Williams.

De uitvalsbasis voor Lost Lovers is Rotterdam, en de doelen die Lost Lovers dan ook heeft voor de aankomende jaren is het veroveren van de rest van alle havensteden in Nederland en daarbuiten. Bescheidenheid is geen doel.
