Shield your eyes (UK) (link)
Hailing from London. A unique power-trio playing jazz-charged post-hardcore in amongst a variety of ever-changing time signatures. ex Meet Me In St Louis and Strobe 45 members.

"Together they play music of the indescribable (note: unique) punky post-hardcore loud noisy beasty guitar riffs in melodic lo-fi beautiful ways with grinding time changes. Sometimes instrumental (like post rock on LSD) sometimes not (like grown men shouting at grown men & women liking being shouted at) in 3 minute sessions of bliss."

 Pneu (FR) (link)
Noisey math rock from a guitar and drum 2-piece from France like Lightning Bolt.

"Noahs Ark"

Few humans species from different corners of the world - turkey, latvia, israel and holland have come together to share a musical journey, travelling within unexplored mist of imagination. uplifting rhytms and melodies are flavoured with the soprano saxophone sounds, acoustic guitar riffs, colourful electric violin lines, spicey irregular rhytmic patterns and variety of the sounds by percussions. This together with our cultural backgrounds makes the essence of our music.

Boris Mogilevski - Guitar ,Bass,Loops
Anne Bakker - Violin
Jasper Van Damme - Soprano Sax

an ongoing performance project in different variations for food, community, conversation, documentation and installation

7-10pm

Distributing Experience / Situation Prompted / Prominent Public Relations is a project centered around food as the main reference and connecting point to collect ideas on different cultural settings about process, preparation, agreement, social taste, presentation and outcome.

Presented as either informal of invitational gatherings the events of are captured with video and sound. This overlapping and collage of gathering the present for memory presents maps of creative process during different acts of dwelling, consuming and community interaction, exploring place and function though time and an outsider's experience.

The collected material is then presented as a final installation/exhbition incorporating video/video stills, sound, drawing and performance. The material being collected at eetcafe will be presented in Brussels, July 2009.

 The meal will be vegetarian.

Two (2) prior projects for DSP include an invitational performance with eight (8) guest held at le vin autrichien in Brussles(22/11/07) consisting of a light dinner with documented then edited conversation followed by an open social soul food buffet held at Bureau Gruzemayer in Antwerp (28/11/07) with viewing of le vin autrichien documentation.
