We order from De Nieuwe Band - a food co-operative, wholesale organisation which operates principally for social-ecological sustainability and supports organic, dynamic agriculture and fair-trading regulations. 1% of De Nieuwe Band’s turnover goes to charity.

Besides products from DNB, we also have organic coffee (espresso/filter/beans) in stock from Café Libertad Kollektiv, a cooperative that buys straight from small farmers in mexico and supports local projects in Chiapas. (check their website).

HOW TO JOIN THE FUN: Come to the Vegetarian Eetcafé (Wednesday & Sunday) and find a friendly Poortgebouwer for the membership information. Once a member, we appreciate a 10 € credit to help sustain our service and from then on, it is pay and order as you go.
